3. Shulchan Oruch. {The new Tur with Shulchan Oruch Hilchos Shabbos is now available in 2 volumes by Machon Yershalaim}.

4. Rambam, Volume Z’manim

5. Mishna B’rura. Pref. The Feldheim edition with English. If one doesn’t require English but Hebrew is a bit of a problem, there is a beautiful M”B with nikkud.

6. Shmiras Shabbos K’hilchasa. There is an English edition, but it lacks the footnotes.

Non compulsory

1. Mishnayos “Pnai Shabbos” with pictures. Available in English.
