The Shabbos course has been recently revamped and recreated by our new esteemed Rav, Rabbi Leibi Landsman, it takes approximately 15 months. It is not a Smicha Course unless you have received a Smicha in Issur V’heter already. Exceptions do apply for past students.

5. Mishna B’rura. Pref. The Feldheim edition with English. If one doesn’t require English but Hebrew is a bit of a problem, there is a beautiful M”B with nikkud.
6. Shmiras Shabbos K’hilchasa. There is an English edition, but it lacks the footnotes.
Non compulsory
